RULES
001. "Treat those as you would be treated." With that said, respect here is the ground we stand on. All those who wonder here should be shown respect. Whether it be member, staff, or guest. There will be no drama unless it's between our characters. If a problem occurs with a member, staff, or guest. Please let the Admin know about it and they will handle it to the best of their ability. We all want to have a good time here. Just remember that.
002. Proboards is our host. Which means we shall follow their ToS. Meaning, this site is PG-13 and anyone under 13 should not register. If a person(s) under 13 registers on this site their account will be deleted with no notice. We will have light drinking, blood, gore, fade to black, and cussing. This means to not be so descriptive with blood, gore, or to overly use cuss words.
003. When you register do so with the FIRST NAME of your character. Then change your username to your characters full name; FIRST, LAST ONLY. This allows others to ping you easily and to keep things neat. If you don't understand how to change your username. Please do not hesitate to ask someone or to ask a staff member. Remember, staffies are here to help. If you do not register with your characters FIRST NAME; you will be pm'd by a Staff member warning you to make the correction by you deleting your account and making it again the correct way. It's not a hard rule to follow people.
004. You may have as many characters as you can keep up with. Though, you must log on with each character to keep them active every second week of the month. This gives you time in case real life throws something at you and you need time away. If you do not then the characters will be placed in the archives. One character per account also. I know most dislike this little rule. However, in the bottom right corner of your screen. This icon
will let you switch between characters easily. Play-by are to be known celebrities, models, or original art work. Unless, you're playing an animal.
005. When it comes to posting in the out of character (OOC) forums. I will not tolerate rudeness, bullying, harassment, or racism. There is no need for it and there will be none of it posted here unless in character. Bullying, racism, or harassment will get you deleted and ban from Newcraxis. So, again. Please follow the ToS and treat those as you would be treated.
006. No spamming the forums with nonsense. Advertisements should go into the advertisement forum. If you post randomly with your advert. It will be deleted.
007. Role-playing here is almost like every other role playing site. We have a word count of 130 words. Also, we'd like it if you could try to match the person your role playing with post. If this is stressing you out in any way. Just try to be as descriptive as possible with your characters surrounding, how their talking, what faces they are making. And, don't worry if your muse flies away. We all have this problem at one time other another. Just inform the person your role playing with so they don't think you're ignoring them.
008. There will be no power playing, god-modding. Your character is not all powerful nor are they god like. Everything has a weakness even your characters. No Mary-sues or Gary-sues. No one is perfect cause we all have flaws. This goes for your characters as well.
009. You are allowed to make original species or to play one of the set species. However, if you make an original species you must provide a description along with abilities and if they are limited, Seelie, Unseelie, or playable by others. If the species is limited please list a number. Also, your application must be filled out. if you come across a filled that has nothing to do with your character then put N/A for Not Available.
010. Graphics on this site are simple. You click profile, edit profile, then click Uploaded/Linked. Link you image to the site and there ya go. You got your image. Avatar images are 220x350. Signatures should be 600x200.
011. Credits for code on the site go to their respectful owners. As well as images, role play characters, and anything else writing or posted on this site. Jenpo of Adoxography made our character application. Maine was sweet enough to make our Role Playing boards. Please do not steal anything from Newcraxis. Or, the squirrels might get you in your sleep. Enjoy role playing!
