 Obex is a major city in the west of Shamarr, that has a highly unwelcoming air, if you're anything but human. Sprawling, chemical-laced, and techno-obsessed, this city is for humans only, and the inhabitants tend to be very unfriendly toward the fey, and magic in general. There's an aura surrounding this city for several miles beyond it's borders that's hard to describe. The wild fey say it's like an uncomfortable silence, like they've gone deaf, but they haven't. Those who hate magic call it a sensation of absolute peace and safety.
