 Caelum is the capital city of Abyssus, and what a city it is. Clean, beautiful, and superbly maintained, Caelum presents itself as the perfect place to live. Even the people are seemingly friendly and warm, holding block parties and community events every Friday evening, approaching the new neighbours with welcome baskets, and keeping their lawns oh-so-perfect. The architecture is very Gothic, made of concrete, sandstone, and even marble.

 Valde is a tiny city located a mile from the border of Nemaria; it's so small it's never been a threat, except for the fact that its inhabitants frequently sneak past the border to cause mayhem in the Seelie lands. This city is cold and beautiful, almost a twin to Argentum with its hundreds of skyscrapers and spires.

 Rutilus Silva, the Shining Forest, is the single most distinct natural phenomenon known to Newcraxis. The entire forest glows, with a soft florescent light that comes from the trees. They're called dragon trees, and they are only found in the Rutilus Silva, making Abyssus a popular tourist stop. The forest is small, but it's also ancient, and wraps around the city of Caelum, allowing for only one major road to and from the city. During the day, the glow from the forest is dull, almost invisible, and does nothing but make the forest look diseased and twisted. At night, though, it's as if the stars came down and hid inside the trunks of the old bent trees.
